Bellinger is a small boutique winery specializing in Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz. Their wines are rich and layered, elegant and nuanced with a natural harmony and balance. The Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon displays notes of violets and mint with layers of blackcurrant, dark plum and sweet vanilla. The palate is vibrant and robust with intense dark cherries, chocolate and spice that leads to a luscious and balanced finish. The result is intensely flavoured and long-lasting red with a balanced and elegant structure.
They meticulously blend old and new techniques to craft wines with exceptional quality and unique character. Their vineyard soils are a mix of ancient volcanic soils, clay and sandy loam which gives the vines excellent drainage and also causes the vines to grow deep into the substrate in order to seek nutrients. The resulting wines are rich and powerful, yet beguiling and enchanting.
